Photographer Feature! 📸 ✨

Julian Buchwald has been an avid photographer for his whole life. While he has worked in the field professionally, he now participates in photography for himself, as a way to tell stories and express his creativity.

Some of his most memorable moments have been while travelling, where tense situations can result in the most breathtaking images.

Julian is excited about the theme “The Space Between” because it can be interpreted in so many different ways. He chose to represent this with an image of the space between trees badly damaged in the Jasper wildfire of 2024. A space that may not have been seen when the branches were intact before the fire. In a figurative way the image occupies a creative space between the representational and the abstract.

You can see Julian’s work on his website: www.docphoto.zenfolio.com and at the 2026 InFocus Photo exhibit.

Photographer Feature! 📸 ✨

Matthew Trgovac has always loved photographing his travels. For a long time it was a hobby, and it wasn’t until he found a free camera at a yard sale that everything changed. Photography has allowed him to really express who he is, and had opened new doors for him.

One of his most joyful moments as a photographer came in New York City, when he stumbled across a violinist in central park playing Disney melodies. It was a magical moment, and the violist allowed Matt to capture the moment. A toddler started dancing to the music, and it was a pure moment of New York Central Park joy. The photos are on his instagram.

Being a part of InFocus is a validating experience for Matt and his career. He is excited to be exhibited with other talented photographers and for others to see his work. To Matt, The Space Between is about exploring the moments in between the big moments. It’s more about the journey than the destination. The image he submitted was taken on a train while looking out the window of a speeding train, watching the morning fog roll over the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia. He was on his way to a big race, filled with anticipation, in the moment of transition. That’s what ‘The Space Between’ means.

You can see Matt's photography on display until April 30, 2026.

The Space Between: ⤵️

A celebration of ambiguity, transition, and the unseen threads that shape our world and tie us together. The photographs in this exhibition challenge, question, and illuminate the liminal: the emotional gaps, the silent pauses, the overlooked details, and the beauty that exists in uncertainty and temporality. The photographs are expansive and contemplative, leaning towards those things that can’t be explained, only felt. This multi-venue exhibition presents visual poetry.

On display until April 30th, 2026 📸

Teena Bull enjoys being creative in many ways, but always finds herself coming back to photography. InFocus offers her an opportunity to share her work with an audience, and she appreciates being able to showcase what she feels.

The Space Between is a very meaningful theme for Teena, as one of her submissions features a great great grandparent and his young grandchild.

You can see Teena’s photography until April 30, 2026 ❤️

Photographer Feature! 📸 ✨

Ben Conley got his start in the film industry, but when the pandemic shut down most productions, he found a new creative outlet through street photography. He has had amazing experiences travelling, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures through photography.

This is Ben’s third time being showcased with InFocus. He enjoys knowing that his work is out in the world, and connecting with new people through the exhibit. For Ben, the theme ‘The Space Between’ is about movement. Our lives are constantly in a state of movement, even
when we feel stuck. So his takeaway from it has been to keep moving, find new ways to
appreciate life, and to grow both professionally and personally.

You can see his work at the InFocus Photo Exhibit until April 30th, 2026.
