As a business owner and filmmaker, it’s always a challenge to find the perfect balance between creative passion — chasing the next exciting project that pushes you forward as a storyteller — and building a
sustainable business that allows your creativity to grow.
The Kingston Canadian Film Festival is one of those rare opportunities that does both. It gives us the space to create something special for an audience while also connecting with the incredible community that makes
up the Kingston and Canadian film industry.
This year was especially meaningful.
We were incredibly honored to win the Jury Prize for Best Music Video, knowing the jury is made up of
some of the most respected voices in the Canadian film and music industry. Throughout the festival we had the chance to connect with Canadian sync and sound supervisors, as well as emerging documentary
filmmakers from across the country.
Moments like these remind us why we love being part of this community and leave us excited to keep building new relationships and developing meaningful projects in the year ahead.
