2026 ➡️ 2025

On this day last year we were trail running a 15km loop while I was 7.5 months pregnant, and this past weekend, we went for Scout’s first backpacking trip to one of the campgrounds along the loop🥹

We had an absolute blast, and I just can’t thank Jared enough for being so supportive and encouraging of me to continue doing what I want to do through these different seasons of our life. He’s always down for whatever, and it just makes continuing our pre-baby hobbies and activities so easy!

We can’t wait to share more about the backpacking trio because it was amazing😍🫶🏼

📌SAVE this post for later! How we survived the first nine months adding a baby to our family with our two dogs thanks to Homes Alive Pets [a d]✨

We never stopped hiking, camping, adventuring, playing fetch and running with the dogs when Scout came into the picture!

Things like the Hurtta for US & Canada cooling vests and the Kuma Outdoor Gear Rocky Mountain flyer frisbees helped with keeping us busy with the dogs, whether that be with Scout or just with the dogs.

Echo has zero quit when it comes to the frisbee which is super cute to watch😅

HAP also has a new feature, AutoShip!

This is super handy when the dogs need food and treats, but we’re busy with Scout and can’t make it to the store for pickup! Just one less thing for us to worry about.

The dogs have been loving the Natural Balance Pet Foods Yo-Gut Bites (and they honestly smell so delicious😂)

Either for dinner or a quick snack on active days, the HAP lick mats are so handy and convenient to give the dogs a few minutes (or 20😅) of entertainment!

Whisky has always been a go-go-go dog, so running with her is one of our favourite ways to get out and go for a run.

The Ruffwear front range harness and roamer leash make running with her super easy!
