This year I’ve intentionally been doing a lot more film photography. I’ve been absolutely loving it, and learning so much.
The golden glow, nostalgic charm, and authentic character make it easy to love film, but shooting analogue is about so much more than aesthetics and vibes for me (even though film is amazing at both those things too)
There’s just something different about film. It’s slower, more genuine, and so deeply infused with memories just by its nature. Every shot has sentiment, and I can’t get enough of it.
Working with film so much lately has gotten me feeling reflective about photography and documenting moments, and I have so much more to share about it. But, for now, I’ll just share a few of these photos I’m happy to have caught on film.
Learning lots, practicing, and growing with each roll I shoot, and so happy to be sharing my work with you along the way.
