Jezz wanted the trees. Colin wanted the lake. And this little cottage wedding gave us both.

So many happy tears, so much laughter, and SO much love between these two and their families. And sweet little Mila somehow stole the show without even trying. 🥹

Every time I photograph a wedding at Carriage Lane, I leave thinking the same thing…

What a beautiful way to get married.

It’s not because it’s a smaller guest list.

It’s because everything feels a little slower.

Couples aren’t rushing from one thing to the next. They actually get to spend time with each other, laugh with the people they love most, and be present for every part of the day.

As a photographer, those are the moments I live for.

Not because they’re perfectly posed.

Not because they’re Pinterest-worthy.

Because they’re real.

And when couples feel relaxed, connected, and completely looked after, it shows in every photograph.

Intimate weddings aren’t for everyone—but if your dream day is about connection, intention, and celebrating with the people who matter most, they’re pretty hard to beat. 🤍

Portugal didn’t change the way I photograph.

But it did help me realize something.

When I looked back through my photos, the ones I loved most weren’t necessarily the most beautiful places—they were the ones with people in them.

I’ve always been drawn to the connection between people and their surroundings.

The landscape isn’t just a backdrop.

The old buildings, the trees, the water, the light… they’re all part of the story.

I don’t just want your photos to remind you what you looked like.

I want them to remind you what it felt like to be there.

Today our girl graduates Grade 8. ❤️

It feels like just yesterday she was heading off to kindergarten, and somehow here we are already celebrating this milestone.

Leah, we are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished so far—not just your grades, sports, and activities, but the person you’re becoming. You’re kind, determined, hardworking, and always willing to be yourself.

Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

We can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes you. High school is lucky to have you.

Grade 8 grad photos, but at the barn.

Maddie wanted her horses included, so I spent the evening chasing good light, dodging horse shenanigans, and documenting a pretty exciting milestone.

These feel so her, and that’s always the goal.
