10 years ago I photographed these two saying 'I do' at the foot of Red Mountain. Yesterday I had the honour of photographing them in their cozy backyard as they said "We still still" after a decade of marriage.

10 years. 4 incredible kids. Same joyful smiles... Same photographer!

T&R exchanged laughter-filled vows at Nelson's downtown, historic art gallery and museum, then walked up the street and around the corner to party (and eat!) into the wee-hours at Broken Hill. If this wedding is any indication of what my 2026 season is going to be like, I think we might be in for a hell of a summer 👌

The month of May sounds like a revving engine. The first few weeks of warm weather bring a tidal wave of portrait sessions, and Wedding Season sits poised and ready to launch.

This May I am determined to create & maintain healthier work/life practices for myself. With clearly defined 'office' and 'working' hours, and a determined approach to get outside and spend quality time with my children every day, I am hoping I can make it through the insanity of the coming months with a shred of my sanity still in place.

How do you balance work and life in the summer months? Do you have 'rules' for yourself to help keep you on track?
