Just wanted to let you know I had a last minute cancelation for my Christmas Minis on November 19th at Velvet Season Studios at 1:00 - 1:30

If anyone is interested in booking a Christmas Mini feel free to contact or PM me at [email protected] 🙂. Mu minis are only available once a year!! Great for couples, maternity, family, fur babies, etc :).

Here is a few photos from the set taken of my daughter Paityn, and niece/nephew. I will be adjusting a few things and adding a few real more floral elements, lights, and cozy fluffy props to spruce up the Christmas magic a bit!! Paityn and I have been going pretty hard at Marshalls and can't wait to work with Angela from Garden54 florist to make my cozy and elegant winter wonderland scene a reality hahaha!

This is one of those moments that truly takes my breath away.⁠

As an artist sometimes we can sometimes get stuck in our head. Thinking about the elements that create a powerful photograph, light, composition, mood, story while trying to connect ourselves with our subject to pull out emotion. ⁠
✨⁠
One of the biggest mistakes sometimes I feel is that there is a common focus on nailing one element i.e., like the sharpness of the image or the use of light.⁠
✨⁠
A beautiful moment is first and foremost confirmed by the viewer, and the beauty is found in the perfect alignment of all the elements coming together in one moment!⁠
✨⁠
This harmony creates a feeling, and it is the feeling of the photo that the viewer most connects to the heart.⁠
✨⁠
For me, this is one of those photographs! It is the mastery of all elements.⁠
✨⁠
We can bring this thought to our daily lives as well by considering the whole person or the whole situation which brings a deeper understanding and compassion.⁠

First look Moments 🥰
The moment when Kirill turned around to see his princess Paula - and tears rolled down his eyes. Witnessing a couple so madly in love, being able to be their beautiful selves, and capturing those fleeting moments of time. Is truly an honour. I feel this post of 10 frame doesn’t do their day justice. From the beginning of the day to the end - my heart was just bursting! It was epic!!
✨
Its moments like these that give me purpose. I had a consultation the other day with a client about how she wanted her images to be perfect - air brushed and for me to use photoshop techniques to manipulate her body. For the first time I told someone I don’t think my style of shooting would be the best fit for her. In honesty, for me capturing “moments” isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being your beautiful self. Letting all that judgement of ourselves to be set a side. Even for me, this year I was trying my hardest to let go of judgement of myself- judgement of the pressure if I wasn’t good enough, comparing myself to other colleagues, wishing to be perfect and better each and every gig. But, then I enrolled in intuitive story telling course just before my season started - and a weight truly just lifted. I was trusting my gut more - shooting with my heart over my brain so to speak. Learning how to feel out energy - use my empath abilities to guide me (but not letting it consume me). And man, as I entering the home stretch of my weddings. I am so proud and honoured of all the genuine and honest moments captured! Thank you wouldn’t have done it without you!

Good Evening Lovelies!! I hope everyone had an amazing thanksgiving surrounded by all of their loved ones! I had 4 days off, hanging out with the fam, saw my FST therapist Rex from and feeling soooo great!!! Went on a editing and sorting mission today!

It sure has been a busy past few days - editing sneaks, consultations, catching up on emails, planning shoots, and of course most importantly being surrounded by such amazing souls EVER!! ⁠

I am so excited to be sharing sneaks from Britt + Matt's wedding! EEEEEE!!! GAH!!! I do have to admit as I am sipping on my morning coffee - looking at the little garden Pea and I attempted to make - nothing compares to this!!! I am still swooning over Britt's dad, John's, garden!!! Isn't it just the most magical place??? ⁠John I may have to pick your brain for my little garden next year hahaha!!

+ , I am at loss for words to express how sincerely grateful I am to be apart of your amazing fun filled wedding day! It truly was the best day ever!!! There were so many sentimental moments filled with so much joy and emotion. Please thank all of your friends and family for making .m.photography and I feel so welcomed and at home - and John thank you so much for all of your hospitality and for making me feel so at home! You guys are absolutely a breath of fresh air. Your family is truly one of a kind; tell auntie I hope she got home safe and for bringing the EPIC tambourine again ahahah.
