Have you ever heard the expression baptism by fire ? Motherhood is that. It’s constant growing pains, is facing your worst fears and traumas . It’s transformative in every level. It is still mourning the person you were before , that one with the fire in the eyes . It’s been constantly bombarded with unsolicited comments and being annoyed af with the romantization of a thankless job. It’s losing yourself at the beginning and then trying to find yourself back . It’s boundless love that takes a while to grow . It’s wanting to be the best possible version of yourself and be the best example for the little human that becomes the center of your whole universe. It’s self doubt and so much more. I can only explain it with self portraits of my journey.
