Our second stop on our road trip photoshoot tour series to PEI, was Picton, Ontario in Prince Edward County. Such a beautiful area, we wanted to do a quick shoot in town. Of course I wanted to capture the theatre in the shot as well.
I had this vision of someone waiting for their Uber . As many of us do these days, rushing to catch the Uber and then looking for the car while waiting for it. I told Grace that’s today’s story, let’s go! Well done bella. You nailed it. 🎯 Even the arrival smile works. 🙂

📸: I knew I wanted to backlight her with the sun and I wanted to keep the background detail, so not blow it out. I kept enough so I could keep Grace exposed and I lifted the background shadows to see more detail like the theatre doors.. We were rushed to get the shots done, especially using the cross walk. All I jumped out of our truck with was a reflector which I used for the roadside waiting shots. The walking shots I had to rely on natural bounce onto Grace, since I had the sun behind her to give her back lighting.
We had so much fun! So glad we fit a Picton shoot into our schedule. When you get an idea just go for it. Why not, right? It’s the best way to create, have fun and make your vision come to life. ❤️☀️
