I’m honoured to share that I’ve been appointed National President of CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators). As the founder of PAWELECphoto, I’ve always believed in giving back to the creative community that has given me so much throughout my career.

This is both a personal milestone and a reflection of the values that have shaped PAWELECphoto from the very beginning: creativity, collaboration, community, and a commitment to raising the bar for our profession.

While I’ll continue creating commercial and corporate photography for the brands, agencies, and organizations that trust PAWELECphoto, I’m also looking forward to working alongside our Board, Chapters, volunteers, members, industry partners, and our newly appointed General Manager, Kseniya Gorbanova, to help grow our membership, strengthen our community, and navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI in a rapidly evolving creative landscape.

Photography has given me more than a career - it has given me a community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back and I’m excited for what’s ahead!

Always inspiring to capture events where the next generation gets to shine.

Had the chance to photograph and film this year’s TCS goIT Culmination Event - students from across the GTA pitching bold ideas for real-world social and environmental challenges. The creativity and confidence on that stage was incredible to see.
