I simply love photographing families at their favorite park doing their usual weekend routine. It completely takes away the pressure and makes everything run so much smoother, especially for the kids! When they’re in their element and actually having fun, you get real moments instead of stiff poses.

Capturing Fernanda Pompeu Oaigen’s family and their passion for staying active was so special. From basketball to bike rides to ending at the playground, they did it all. So Part II is definitely needed for this crew! 🚲🏀

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and love is in the air 💕

But here’s the thing. You don’t need a special date or a big milestone to celebrate your love. Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the “just because” ones.

And because love stories are always worth sharing, scroll to the last photos to see mine, captured by my lovely tween daughter, aka my photography apprentice 📸

This carousel starts with a photo that’s incredibly close to my heart. My parents. They just completed 44 years together this January. I photographed them during a trip to Brazil last year, and seeing their love after all these years reminded me why I do what I do. Love that has weathered time, that still holds hands, that still looks at each other like the world stopped.

And then there are all the other beautiful couples who trusted me with their stories. Different stages. Different backgrounds. But the same thread running through every frame: connection.
