it’s officially spring which means..
“just one more photo”
“wait the light is TOO good”
crying during speeches i’ve heard absolutely nothing about beforehand
and driving home belting out noah kahan with sore feet and a full heart 🌙

25 wedding celebrations this year and so many sessions in between. i genuinely cannot wait for all the chaos and beauty of it again.
2026 season… let’s dance 💫

Misha + Julia earlier this year at Old City Hall

They were so relaxed all day and just genuinely excited to get married surrounded by their families. Everything felt easy in the best way.

This was also my first time photographing a ceremony at Old City Hall and hopefully not my last. I immediately fell in love with the architecture and stained glass windows. So much character in every room.

sun pouring through the trees, long tables filled with laughter, soft florals, and lemons tucked into every detail… it felt less like a wedding and more like the most beautiful alfresco gathering.

Insiya & Ryan’s wedding day last October at —the best ending to a week of celebrations! 💛

A day rooted in family and intention. We talked about how big it all is—marriage as a privilege, a responsibility—and how they wanted to really feel it as it unfolded. To take a picture with their hands, stay present, and not let the night become a blur of wait, what just happened? And they really did it.

That intention showed up in all the best ways—custom cocktails, napkins with their words, delicate florals and details that felt personal without trying too hard.

And then the reception: friends everywhere, cake making the rounds like it had its own social life, nonstop dancing, outfits that deserved their own photoshoot, florals and colors doing the absolute most (in the best way).

A beautiful day, from start to finish ✨

the most perfect ending to a full week of celebrations.

every moment felt warm, intentional, and full of love.

the colours were stunning, the details so thoughtful, and the energy all night was just effortless. insiya and ryan are truly the calmest, kindest souls, and being around their families and friends made it all even more special.

grateful to have been there to capture it all — so much more to share from this one… get ready ✨

amanda + jerome’s wedding day still lives rent-free in my head 🍾

last summer, just around the corner from where we live (and yes — they’re literally my neighbours in my condo), they turned our neighbourhood into the most joyful, spontaneous celebration.

we kicked things off walking to the great hall with our local legend crossing lady kathleen leading the way.

portraits felt less like a photoshoot and more like a full-on street party — running into friends, guests, even the florist who made that gorgeous bouquet.

they kept it super local too — all of the food and desserts came from small neighbourhood spots, which made it feel even more personal and community-driven.

their ceremony? a full sing-along. like, everyone. it was loud, emotional, and completely unforgettable.
and then they danced… all. night. long.

just genuinely fun from start to finish. the kind of day that reminds you what weddings are really about!

Josie and Brock, married last November đź’›

Their ceremony started with the most beautiful moment. Right as they prayed, the light came pouring through the church windows. You couldn’t have timed it better. It gave me chills.

Afterward everyone headed to the Broadview Hotel for their reception. Lion dancers, outfit changes into traditional attire, and so many laughs (and a few tears from me)

They laughed, cried and stayed completely themselves all day. A true reminder of why I love my job so much!

Insiya + Ryan’s Mehndi last fall at 💫🌹

I’ve been sitting with these photos for a while. Mostly because I am truly obsessed with this entire gallery and choosing 20 slides was so hard. Prepare to see a ton more! Everytime I go back to them, I remember how it actually felt to be in that room. The air was thick with marigolds and chatter, glasses clinking somewhere behind me, aunties calling out instructions, kids darting between chairs. It was full in the best way!

That whole week carried that same energy. Small moments that didn’t demand attention but quietly shaped the day. The in-between glances. The way everyone leaned in.

They trusted me fully. No shot lists, no over-direction. That kind of trust changes how I move through a space. It was a week of colour, tradition, and people showing up wholeheartedly. I’m really grateful I got to be there for it! I will never forget it.
