Lori Waltenbury Photo Wedding & portrait photographer specializing in creative photojournalism in Toronto Ontario and Montreal Quebec.

I believe in only doing what you love and sharing that passion with others! I fell in love with photography at a young age and haven't put down my camera since. I love chatting with my clients, listening to their stories and creating some beautiful and unique images together. I get pleasure from involving my clients within the creative process so you can proudly show off our work and say that you

played a vital part in the making! I specialize in photographing and interacting with people. I love their little quirks and learning what makes them unique and showcasing that in beautiful imagery. I find it exciting that no two people are alike, thus I strive to make every image unique and special. Lori Waltenbury specializes in creative and emotive portraiture and wedding photography in Toronto and Midland Ontario.

High Park & Get Well was the perfect combo to honour Haley & Jeremy’s love story and their delightfully effervescent personalities. I can’t wait for their big day in August!

Some celebrations carry a different kind of weight.

Just two weeks before their wedding, Chloe and Chris reached out and asked me to photograph their day. For the previous six months, their lives had been centered around hope, perseverance, and love as they organized swab drives and searched for a stem cell donor match for Chloe’s mom. Then, in a moment that feels almost too perfect to be real, they learned a match had been found on the very same day Chris proposed.

A few years ago, I had the privilege of photographing Chloe’s brother AJ’s wedding, so being invited back to document another chapter in their family’s story felt incredibly meaningful. What unfolded was one of the most joyful rooms I’ve ever stood in. The happiness wasn’t performative or fleeting. It was the kind that comes after carrying something heavy for a very long time. After months of uncertainty, advocacy, and unwavering hope, there was finally reason to celebrate.

And celebrate they did. Every embrace lingered a little longer, every laugh rang a little louder, and every person in that room seemed fully aware of just how precious the moment was.

Film only, for now. Digitals coming soon 🤍

Photographing Shelley’s wedding this past Sunday at the Harding Waterfront Estate felt especially meaningful after nearly a decade of working alongside her in this industry. Seeing someone you know step into a day like this, and witnessing the kind of love that feels calm, genuine, and deeply certain, felt grounding in a way that’s hard to explain.

The week leading up to the wedding carried more chaos than anyone anticipated, including the florist having all of her floral stems stolen less than 48 hours before the day. But somehow, through the care and determination of so many people, it all came together beautifully. Thoughtfully curated by Alana Klein and brought to life by a team of vendors giving their all for one of their own, the whole day felt like a quiet testament to community, resilience, and love in its purest form 🤍

All film, even tho some are underexposed because life, like film, is rarely perfect and I love that.

Realized today I haven’t shared Laura & Edun’s day yet, and immediately needed to change that.

Here are a few favourites on film. Maybe I’ll find my way back to posting digital at some point, but for now film touches and curates that quiet nostalgia more deeply, and better translates how I personally see and feel a day 🤍
