Hey y’all 🌻 so my film is done, and I have many of you to thank for your support. Thank you. For being in my life, or taking time to look at my work, for giving me reason to become better. Love ya’s.
On March 16th my film will be shown in an exhibition at the Meridian Arts Centre, alongside my incredibly talented and beautiful cohorts. Vibe arts and the founders have given us the opportunity to express ourselves in ways that we see fit, and we’d love for you to come and experience the art with us 😊

Hey y’all. So I’m making a short film very very soon (like real soon). I’ve gotten some funding from Vibe arts which I am very grateful for because it’s fuelling the creation of my art piece and allowing me to pay young creatives.

Hey y’all, wishing you nothing but peace and blessings.
You may have seen this post last week, there’s just been a change of date. The new date is Thursday the 11th of June. I will be speaking on a panel alongside 4 other incredible creatives, on the topic of events and community engagement. Big thanks to Launchpad for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the past 2 years of being an organizer in the community. This will take place on Zoom and the event is free! Today is workshop number 5 of 6. It excites me to wake up each morning knowing that I’ll get to foster a new group of individual creative minds, all with the singular purpose of connecting through art. I really appreciate y’all.
Today starts with a tour of the AGO’s archives of old Caribbean photos, lead by the wonderful Dr. Julie Crooks. Afterwards we come back down to the education commons for a panel discussion between Dr. Crooks and Ashley McKenzie-Barnes on the art of curation. I can’t wait to hear what y’all have to say, so please feel free to chime in with questions and comments.
