A few more snaps from Italy with the new Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S II. I debated buying this lens ahead of the trip, but I’m so glad I did - the performance and ergonomics are superb. I initially dismissed the value of the “all internal zoom,” but the benefits to usability are undeniable - no shifting center of gravity when zooming and no need to move backward as you zoom in to shoot portraits, flowers, or food.
