The thing I can’t live without as a brand photographer who helps businesses stand out online:

One of the most important parts of a brand shoot is choosing the right location, and truthfully, it’s about so much more than finding a pretty space.

For quarterly Brand Refresh Mini Sessions, I intentionally choose versatile studio locations with multiple vignettes and neutral elevated backdrop so we can create a wide variety of content in a shorter amount of time. It allows clients to walk away with images that feel elevated, diverse, and usable across so many platforms.

For a full Brand photoshoot session, the location is completely customized to the brand. I’m thinking about your personality, your audience, your offers, your colours, your energy, and the feeling we want people to have when they land on your page. 🤌🏽

Real talk here, have you tried AI for your brand photos?

With the move to everything AI, I’ve been asked many times:
Is your business threatened? Are you experiencing a slow down in shoots? What are your thoughts on AI generated photos?

Here’s the thing, AI is totally here to stay and yes it’s totally possible to do a branding photoshoot with AI however there’s a difference from a real life experience.

The value that an in person photoshoot brings is literally human:
✔️ the connection with the photographer
✔️ the emotion and energy felt through the photos
✔️ the dynamic images that are truly real and authentic
✔️ and most importantly the uplift in confidence that is felt as a result of a solid branding photoshoot photoshoot

Photoshoots are exciting and transformational and I truly believe the in person experience is where it’s at. I’ve warmly embraced AI as a partner in business.
