It’s the anniversary of Davy Jones passing. Well almost, since he passed on Feb 29, 2012 and the leap year always confuses me. He always gets at least two days of remembrance this time of year but every Monkees concert I ever went to or wanted to see since his passing I wished he was there. He is always in our thoughts since he brought great joy to his audiences year after year. The energy and enthusiasm he had never wavered and you always walked away with a smile and your heart felt full and happy. That was Davy the entertainer of entertainers he was completely amazing. These photos were from the Greek Theatre in 2011, as I went to 8 shows that summer and wanted to make the most of the three of them back together. I’m so glad I went. Life is too short not to take the trip or see your favourite concert, you never know what happens and you may never get that opportunity again. RIP Davy Thank you. 😊
