Canadian spring hits 14°C and suddenly everyone’s acting like it’s mid-summer 👀

Wasn’t even that warm, but the Ossington strip was packed—seemed like a good excuse to grab an iced coffee and break out the x Chuck 70s in “Southern Flame.” These have been in rotation for a while, and y’all know I’m a big fan of the colour orange 🤷‍♂️

has been a go-to spot since day one. Always good vibes, never disappoints… and apparently the rest of the city agrees, based on the line out front the last few times I’ve been there.

Meetings over coffee just hit different.

Well... kinda, let me explain.

Recently grabbed these Bright Mandarin Air Max 95s from 2010—an OG-inspired colourway I’ve always circled back to but never pulled the trigger on. Not out of doubt, just never felt like the right moment. While having my morning coffee the other day, after listening to the podcast talking top 95s of all time... I found myself checking the usual spots again. Threw in a quiet offer, didn’t think twice.

Next thing I know, they’re on my doorstep. And the same day I crack open the box, I see the headline—Nike’s finally bringing this colourway back in April 2025, fifteen years later. Lol.

Funny how that happens. Didn’t mean to grab the older pair, but honestly glad I did. There’s something about a pair with a little character—that adds to the story for me. And for what I paid, I’m definitely not complaining. Haha.

Always a funny reminder that I’ve got my eyes on the right pairs—and a sense for the ones that matter. Can’t say it’s the first time this has happened, but it’s moments like this that make me think my taste might still be dialled in with the ones calling shots on the other end.

I disappeared for months… 👀

Now, I’ve got a ton of catching up to do—especially with all the new spots popping up around the city! I’ve been keeping an eye on my feed and building a list of all the places I need to hit before winter rolls in. Excited to dive back in and start exploring again!

But that’s not all—I’ve been working on something special behind the scenes for the Coffee and Kick family! For those who’ve caught on, bravo! 😉🤫… But if you haven’t, keep your eyes peeled for a special launch coming this fall.

As for where I’ve been, I’ve spent the past few months at my desk, grinding away and building something I’m really excited about. I’ll break it all down very soon—can’t wait to share everything with you guys!

In the meantime, send me your favorite new cafés that have opened up—I’m back in the city and ready to hit them all and share the journey with everyone!

SPRING CLEANING… if you could steal a single pair, which one would it be? 🤔👀

I’m FINALLY building a new sneaker shelf in my room! Time to put together a complete wall for the entire collection! How should I organize em all!? … I had to move all of these pairs off the floor so I could prep, sand, and paint the new area where i’m installing!

With an awesome coffee program spanning day and night, this casually STUNNING café perfectly transitions into a beautiful cocktail bar every night. Serving up a spectacular atmosphere the Bar snacks on entry, great tunes, a bottle shop in the back, make the beautiful interior that much better… this spot definitely passes the vibe check in my books.
