What people see: Me taking photos with my camera.

What people don't see: Me charging the batteries the night before, me making sure I have my remotes, memory cards and filters that I plan to use that day, making sure my tripod is in working order, ensuring my camera settings are good so I can take pics immediately once I get where I want to go, checking the weather for temperature, making sure clothing I need to wear is clean, comfortable, and laid out (or I know where the clothing is if it's out of season--like a hoodie that might need to be worn on a summer's night), checking the sunset time so I can figure out when the golden and blue hour is going to be, deciding WHERE I am going so I can plan accordingly when to leave based on traffic conditions, or crowds, and checking the sun position in the sky at various times so I know precisely the sun arc as it rises and sets, AND know how high it will be at various times of the day if I want the sun in my shot or not.

And after ALL OF THIS...I may still come home without a pic that I like, OR I'll come home with a pic that is social media worthy, or will go on my website for sale.
