Orthodox Baptism

In the Orthodox Church, Baptism is a Holy Mystery through which a person is united with Christ and welcomed into His Church. Through three immersions in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the baptized person receives new life in Christ. Baptism is followed by Chrismation and Holy Communion, marking the beginning of a life of faith in God.

It is an honour to capture this historic moment—the first Toronto screening of the Black Line movie. The film is truly amazing, with a powerful, deep, and thought-provoking story.

I have great respect and appreciation for the incredible vision and work of the director and producer , Professor Haile Gerima, and the entire cast and crew. It was a privilege to witness and capture this special moment in Toronto, Canada.
