Wrapping up M & S’s close‑knit celebration at the stunning Crown Prince Fine Dining and Banquet! Between the emotional speeches, the endless food courses, and the love radiating from every corner, it was impossible not to leave with a full heart (and belly).

Thanks for coming along for the ride. Weddings aren’t my usual beat, which made this one extra special. Big love to Sasha and Michelle for inviting me into their day!

As we continue the mini-chapters of Sasha and Michelle's wedding day, I had to include the receiving line as its own entity.

Take a look at its length then imagine genuinely hugging every single person with your whole heart and a sky full of appreciation. These newlyweds give excellent hugs.

I'll admit that receiving lines can sometimes feel a little repetitive to photograph, but not this one. Every hug seemed bigger than the last, and it was pretty clear just how loved Michelle & Sasha are by the people around them.

It was a lot of fun to witness!

I love how wedding days are made up of little chapters, each one with its own story to tell.

The Ceremony Chapter is probably the most important one. Every wedding has different traditions and moments that matter, so there's always lots to pay attention to.

As a photographer, I try to be as inconspicuous as possible. The focus should be on the couple—not on me running around all over the place.

Since I was photographing this wedding on my own, I worked with two cameras so I could quickly switch between wide and close shots without drawing too much attention to myself.

I don't photograph a lot of weddings anymore, but when I do, it's usually for the very best people. ❤️

A huge congratulations to my neighbours, Michelle & Sasha, on their beautiful spring wedding day!

We kicked things off with portraits, and since family photos are my jam, having everyone dressed up extra purdy made it even more fun. 😊 We managed to sneak all of these in at the East End's beautiful Monarch Park just before the rain rolled in—perfect timing.

When your third child turns one, it's probably a good time to get some updated family photos up on the wall... before they're old enough to realize they're the only one not represented yet. 😂

I've said it before and I'll say it again: photographing your family year after year is just as special for me as it is for you. Watching families grow, welcoming new little faces, and capturing these chapters as they unfold is a true honour.

Meeting the newest addition to this sweet family was a blast. And no, I wasn't offended at all when she spent most of our session signing "All done!" 😂

These are the moments you'll want to remember... the big milestones, the tiny expressions, and all the beautiful chaos in between.

Today marks 45 trips around the sun!

Ever since my adventures in Japan half a lifetime ago, I always love to see the cherry blossoms as a part of my birthday celebration. Last year I dragged my injured son to it after basketball practice. We didn't last long. This year I dragged my overtired daughter and mom. We didn't last long. I debated taking my camera and decided to leave it at home. Sometimes just getting there is half the battle!

Did we get good photos? Not the best, no. My hair looks like a mullet, my laugh lines are laughing extra hard, I've got a guy behind me picking his nose, and composition is, um, a little bit off I'd say, but good effort, daughter!

Nonetheless, grateful to be going strong and loving my little life!

So let's get together to celebrate yours too! Especially in light of Mother's Day. I promise to keep the people in the background at bay 😉 Thank you to everyone who has been with me in my journey xox
