Outdoor headshots are such a great way to bring a little more warmth and groundedness to your image. For Danielle, we kept things super simple... a pretty tree-lined background, a sidewalk, and we enjoyed having her partner there as well to cheer her on.

And if the thought of getting a headshot makes you nervous, I’m here to tell you, we don’t have to make a big deal out of it. (Unless you want to, of course 😉)

I hope these images capture Danielle’s work as a psychotherapist... warm, approachable and trustworthy. Because that’s exactly how she is in person, too. ❤️

Who wants to come play in the leaves with me at Monarch Park this fall? 🍂

I had the best time with this beautiful family last year chasing all the fall colour and this was the first week of November!

Toronto is currently saying peak colour will be October 9–17… but I’m here to tell you I’ve had some pretty good luck in early November too!🍁

So if you reach a point thinking, “Wait… did we miss it?” NOPE. There’s still hope for those crunchy-leaf family pics into November. (I'll just be here crossing my fingers my promise holds true for us 😉)

Fall is by far the most popular time to get photos done! I swear 80% of my work is in these next few months 😅 Last year I had fun ripping around to front porches for family photos. Is that something anyone might be interested in again this year? I remember this session took place right before a very important Jays game!

Did you know your Fall Mini can also knock holiday cards off your to-do list? 🙌

With select upgrades, you get 5x7 flat, double-sided cards on gorgeous soft-touch paper with white envelopes. Colours and layouts can be tweaked a bit too so you don't need to pre-think your wardrobe to match a certain card ha :)

Fall Minis are back and this year we’re doing DOUBLE!

Come get your fall family photos, check those holiday cards off your list, and help a local family at the same time.

I’m SO pumped that local realtor Nicola St. John has generously offered to MATCH donations to Red Door Family Shelter this year. My fam bought our first (and current) home from her so this is truly special that together we can all make a bigger impact in our community by getting others back on their feet and under a roof.

Your session supports Red Door Family Shelter's women, children, and families they serve. And thanks to Nicola, your contribution will have DOUBLE the impact. The goal is to reach $2000 which will get doubled to $4000. Let's do it!

Come as you are — relaxed and playful, or glammed up and festive. No themed backdrops, just your family’s real connection and joy. Together, we’ll create timeless photos (with the option for holiday cards) while supporting our community in a beautiful way.

A lot actually!

My goal with every mini is to squeeze in:
📸 The whole family
👯 Just the kids
❤️ Just the grown-ups
✨ A few individual shots of each kid

It’s quick, casual and as your photographer I come to it with an athlete's mentality of getting a good workout in! Ha 😄
