Every now and then it’s nice to remember we’ve been making our own, too.

Somewhere between OCAD University, a random bookbinding elective, thousands of weddings, corporate jobs, moves, babies, and way too many coffees...

We spent the evening for this engagement sesh wandering around the property where these two are getting married later this year, and honestly... it was pretty special.

There’s something about getting married somewhere that already means something to you.

Every field, every tree, every little corner already holds memories, and before long, it’ll hold one more.

We already can’t wait to come back for the wedding day🤍 We have a feeling this won’t be the last time this place makes us emotional 🥹

Yesterday it felt like spring.
Today we’re back in an ice storm 🫠

So instead of trusting the weather to get it together… we’re just doing spring indoors. This year’s spring minis are back inside with floral backdrops, good light, zero wind, and no “should we reschedule?” texts at 8am.

They’re quick. Low pressure. Very “let’s just do this before soccer/baseball/baby #2 arrives.”

So many love stories, growing families, happy tears, big hugs, and moments that felt small at the time but meant everything. We’re endlessly grateful to every couple and family who trusted us to tell their story this year, we don’t take it lightly. Here’s to doing it all over again in 2026 🫶🏻
