Parking for the penthouse at the The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto, through a mistake, was a tricky maze manoeuvre! I should have known there would be valet! (A story for another time) Nevertheless, once there, I settled in and was reassured by the gracious Robin Nadel; the space opened up to me and my camera
The view, though not the show's hero, was a prominent and important character. The dark grey, veined Marble fireplace wall was equally dominant from this point of view and time of evening. The perfectly proportioned upscale furnishings were quietly confident.
The matte black metal-clad glass office door offers beautiful transparency and reflection of the dusk sky
The sunset, visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows, warms the custom-designed desk and built-ins. A room where serious ideas are conjured. This project, as all of those designed by Wise Nadel Design reminded me of the reason I chose this as my daily profession! Exquisite!!!
