Eid Mubarak to all of my friends, family, and clients that celebrate! ⁣

This beautifully blended wedding consisted of two ceremony days! One with a Sikh ceremony to celebrate the groom’s side, following with a Muslim ceremony for the bride’s side. I love the details of blended weddings where everyone gets to celebrate each of their traditions! The beautiful colours of the saris, the intricate henna drawn on the bride and bridesmaids, and of course my favourite detail being the Leaves of Lórien pin that the groom gave his sister for their shared love of Lord of the Rings! I geeked out super hard when I photographed that moment. ⁣

I remember one year for Eid after prayer, there was a huge play area and I was super excited for the bounce house. I thought it was the perfect time to attempt my very first back flip at 10 years old because how hard could it be with the added bounce? The answer is very and it definitely hurt 😂⁣

Wondering if you should hire a videographer for your wedding and doing an engagement video?? This is your sign to say YES! 💍

Katie and Sean were so patient as we had to reschedule a number of times because of lockdown, so we had our shoot day after they got married! The fog didn’t make it easy, you could hardly see in front of you! Despite the fog and the surprisingly many beach goers that day, I’m so thankful that Katie and Sean trusted my vision and got in the (very!) cold water for this. I went into the water too, I promise!

A video shoot is so so helpful in getting everyone comfortable in front of the camera, and it’s SO FUN! Posing for traditional looking photos is one thing, but a video captures every moment which can make anyone super nervous! Point a camera at me and just watch how weird I get! 😂

But it’s also an incredible experience to see how beautifully the love can be captured between two people in a video. Rumour has it that my face always hurts from smiling while I edit…possibly some tears as well 👀 I just can’t get over how Sean looks at Katie 😍

Tiara & Mike • The wedding may long be over, but each passing year in marriage is still a milestone worthy of celebration. Among the many memorable moments for couples—where they met, their first date, their first kiss—their wedding day rises to the top.

365 days later and I’m reminded of how beautiful your wedding day was, and how absolutely magical the love you have for one another shows everyday. May this year be merely the first of many great ones to come 💍🥂

How unbelievably lucky am I to have been able to capture my brother’s wedding. Happy 7 days of marriage, 7 years of being together, and to 70 more years, Hannah and Yazeed ❤️

A very happy first anniversary to one of the kindest and most loving couples I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! Watching all the smiles and laughter from a year ago today truly shows the love these two have for one another, as well as the love they share with their friends and family.

It started with a dream of a life together, and the dream only gets better. Cheers to one year of marriage
