In 2017, I purchased a camera slider off of a guy on Kijiji. I paid slightly more than I wanted to for it, but felt like I should just do it.

I brought up a recent wedding that I did while I was there, showed him my work and shortly after that started second shooting for him!

It was at the beginning of my professional career, and working alongside him helped grow me as a media professional and exposed me to countless amazing weddings, traditions, and events.

That guy was Elan!

Just last week, things came full circle as he hired his own media team, including myself, to shoot his OWN wedding. Where I used that SAME slider from years ago.

The same piece of equipment, years of experience and creativity later.

Such a fun night!

It's been a busy year working as the Media Director for Trinity Streetsville while continuing to take on freelance jobs at ASCM. Coming out of the height of the pandemic straight into lots of filming opportunities has been a lot to manage, but it's shoots like this that make me remember my roots!

I love filming camp highlight videos. The energy and excitement are off the charts! Enjoy!

CBOQ's youth retreat, "Blizzard" looked a little different this year.

Due to Covid restrictions, it was held online instead of the usual venue, Muskoka Woods, with groups of kids tuning in to various livestream sessions and doing activities together in their home town.

We were able to pull it off and also produce a highlight recap video!

There's never a dull moment as the Media Director at Trinity Streetsville.

This week, due to electrical issues at the building, we were forced to do a day of shooting and quick turnaround of editing for delivery on Sunday morning, something we had to do a month ago for the same reason.

If it's covid related or technical related, I've had to pivot and adapt to any situation, never knowing what to expect.

Over the past few months it's been great staying busy with full time work and freelance filming and editing on the side. I'll be posting more exciting projects soon!

Such an amazing day with such an amazing couple!

With the restrictions that we've been facing throughout COVID in the wedding industry, it makes it even more of an honour to create wedding films to give those who weren't able to be there in person an opportunity to feel the energy of the day, and of course for the couple to have a lasting memory!
