Last weekend, I went for a kayak camping trip in Parry Sound, Ontario. I packed light due to a strenuous portage that's required to reach my backcountry camping spot. A fire ban was in effect due to dry conditions and all the forest fires burning out of control throughout the province and many parts of Canada. The sky was hazy and the atmosphere was full of smoke. The campsite was very scenic and the fishing was amazing. The night was lit up with the full moon and the sunrise in the next morning was magical.
