If the pandemic has taught me anything, it's to cherish the small moments. I know it's cliche to say, and everyone says the same, but it's true. Ask your child what is the most memorable moment this year, aside from probably their birthday, I always hear something small that was very meaningful to them and not necessarily extravagant events that took a lot of time and planning. A child is innocent, they don't see the efforts made by parents, they go by what they feel. As long as I continue to create those moments where they feel something memorable, I'll count that as a win. To me, those special "family moments" cannot be forced, it happens organically and often from a place that is unexpected.
