People always ask me, "Jordan, how do you do it all?"
Truthfully?
Some days, I don't know.
I'm a mom of four. A wife. An educator. A photographer. A studio owner. A podcast co-host. And while it might look like I have it all together, there are plenty of days when I'm exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on empty.
But I show up.
I show up when I'm tired. I show up when things feel heavy. I show up when I feel like I have nothing left to give.
I was raised with a strong work ethic. I was taught that commitment matters. That people count on you. That showing up is important, even when it's hard.
And if I'm being vulnerable for a minute, I think part of me is still chasing that "good job" or "atta girl." Still hoping someone will notice how hard I'm trying. Still wanting that validation from the people I love most.
The funny thing is, when I don't get it, I tend to work even harder.
Maybe that's something I'm still learning to unpack.
But for now, I'll keep showing up. Not because I'm superhuman. Not because I have it all figured out.
Because that's who I've always been.
Maybe one day I'll start giving myself the "good job" I've spent so many years looking for from everyone else.
