Union Station-Toronto

Thank you very much for your interest and for selecting this photo. On September 27, I joined the Toronto Photographers Group for a street photography walk. I took this shot at the entrance of Toronto's Union Station; I was waiting for someone to walk by when this young woman appeared. I converted the image to black and white and removed other photographers who were shooting nearby. Shooting settings: f/8, 1/30 sec, 100 iso. Edited by Lightroom Classic.

I had always dreamed of seeing puffins, and during a trip to Eastern Canada this summer I finally realized that dream. They are also called "clown of the sea" for a very good reason; they are quite hilarious in the air, flapping their small wings quite rapidly and sometimes giving the impression that they do not really know where to land! I was amazed at how they can perfectly line up fish in their beak.

Thingvellir National Park in Iceland

This photo was taken Dec 26th at 1pm as the sun was setting over the water in Thingvellir National Park. Winter sunsets have amazing light and colour saturation. I took this with a Samsung S23 Ultra phone.
