I have heard this before but I didn't understand why not share?
I was on a Q&A on YouTube about the changes for content creators and the host said not to share links to other Social Media platforms as it hurts the algorithm, the system gets confused, just allow YouTube algorithm do it's thing. So I will hold back and stop posting links here.
Having said that please check out my YouTube Channels for Livestreams and Premiere Presentation.
Stop sharing links!
Pros and Cons Posting YouTube video links on other Social Media Platforms brings varied results.
Algorithm confusion: YouTube stops showing your video to others.
Bad Links: External links pull viewers out your content.
Lower watch time: people leave your video fast
