You know… you know, when I post it’s time to reflect.

I know I say this a lot but I am damn lucky.

Lucky to be surrounded by love.

By the people I care about so deeply.

Christianne and Erik are those couples that are just surrounded by those they love. Family and friends at an intimate ceremony at the and then a fantastic reception held at in the distillery.

Catching up on posting all the content ❤️

How fortunate I am to bear witness, week after week, to the living testimony of love, of family, and of the spirit of togetherness. To watch a village gather by lifting one another with encouragement, weaving hopes for the future, and rejoicing in shared celebration—is a reminder of how extraordinary it is when community and love entwine. It is, in every sense, a gift.

Love feels a lot like sailing. Steady, sometimes unpredictable, but always better when shared. Out here, it’s just us, the wind, and the open water. ⛵

It’s not always the big moments that stay with us. Sometimes its bare feet on warm grass,
a shared glance across the field.

The quiet magic.
The in-between moments that somehow matter the most.

Because home isn’t always where you live.
Sometimes it’s where you feel most like yourself.
Where the hills feel familiar,
and the sky looks like it remembers you.

And even with passports stamped
and lives stretched across continents,
somewhere in the folds of this land,
we remember who we are.
And why we return.

Because one post wasn’t truly enough.

As I get older, my perspective on weddings has changed in quiet but meaningful ways. When you’re younger, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement—the dress, the playlist, the décor, the picture-perfect moments. But with time, you start to notice different things: the nervous hand squeezes, the way parents tear up during the vows, the laughter shared between old friends. You begin to understand that a wedding isn’t just a celebration, it’s a marker—a heartfelt pause before two people step into something much bigger and more complicated than that one day. The beauty of a wedding starts to feel less about the production and more about the promise. It’s not about perfection, but about intention, and the quiet hope that love will last through all the ordinary, unpredictable days that follow.

Rain, snow, ice… then more rain. Spring has really done a number on us this year. i still remember this rainy wedding day, where Jasmine said let’s go on the docks. Regardless of the weather, she wanted those epic dock photos! We grabbed a few photos while it wasn’t raining too hard yet, and then came back out later for some epic sunset photos.

worth it.
