One sweet portrait of before the first look with her love at the Wick ( ) in Tofino🩷. I’m a big fan of first looks. It settles the nerves and reminds you of why and how you got here and helps to have a bit of calm together before a big exciting day.

When it comes to family sessions, know that it will be exactly what it was meant to be. I will take the formal family portrait but I much prefer to let your kiddos run free and we grab moments in between. Leaning into the chaos allows for everyone to relax a little and have fun (and that’s where the best photos are taken). 🌼

Please let me introduce myself for the FIRST TIME 😅💞. I’m Lindsay! I love snacks and adventuring with my little fam and social surfs with my girlfriends.

I’m so lucky to get to be a photographer for couples on the best day of their lives. Everyone is happy and feeling the love and vibes are always on the up. It couldn’t be better!

For those confused about my living situation. I lived in Tofino for..14 years?? And moved to Victoria with my family last year. I still consider Tofino a base and work both there and in Victoria :).

An intimate and rainy celebration at Pacific Sands Resort with stunning florals and a stormy backdrop. Remember when I said this was my rainiest season in Tofino yet?! 🌧️

These two were incredible. It was a session full of laughter due to how soaked we were getting. Umbrellas kind of helped but half way through we ditched them and carried on.

It’s easy to look down on rain but it adds a whole other level of potential fun. 💙

What a year! A whole lotta ups and downs but gosh darn grateful for where I’m at. Loved getting the chance to do more work in Victoria and the different scenes it provides (hello gardens! castles! parliament buildings!) AND loved working where I know every little rock and nook depending on the tide 😂 up the coast in Tofino. Some might say it’s the best of both worlds and I agree with them.

I can’t wait for what 2026 has to offer. Putting out a vibe of lots of work, more play and allll the gratitude!

If you saw in one of my stories I mentioned the “slow burn resolution”. It’s not about starting the year off with a bang with all the goals. It’s about flowing into the year with a mindset of slowly shifting patterns and allowing your resolutions to naturally wander into your life - meet you halfway so to speak. Anyways, I’ll be spending tomorrow thinking about this and will share with you soon what my two/three slow burn resolutions will be 🥰. Until then, happy new year!

As we now turn toward lighter days, I love celebrating this season of quiet, rest, family and the peace that comes with the dark. There’s something grounding about slowing down, reading your favourite book (especially on paper back) and listening to the rain, and letting the world soften around you.

These two embraced the rainstorm with ease and grace - fully present with one another. ❤️‍🔥
