Today we said farewell to Danny MacLeay. He will be deeply missed by many not least his sailing family and friends. May you have fair winds and following seas my friend. See you on the water….

In celebration of essential work done by seafarers bringing food, services and supplies, Thunder Bay harbour ships blew their horns today, and hubby Alan (Imagine Films) was there to capture the momentous event! Turn up the sound! Thank you to ALL essential workers: you keep us safe, you keep us fed and you keep our economy moving!

It's been a busy few weeks. We were thrilled to capture the arrival of the Samuel Risley to begin the ice breaking in the harbour and bay. Over the past few years ice breakers from the US would make the trip to begin the start of navigation. Given the current climate this was not possible so an old familiar vessel to Thunder Bay returned to do the job.

Sorry it's been a while since we posted anything. As you may know "Bella" was sold last year and since then we've been on a hiatus as life "took over". Hopefully we'll be back on the water this year and able to add to the huge gallery of images taken over the years since before 2005!

We had a fabulous weekend sailing on Bella and droning around Silver Islet and Middlebrun Bay at Sibley Park.

For those who may think our area is blah, take a look at these. These images are in Thunder Bay's back yard. The images of the Silver Islet mine look tropical....(but they're not...I went for a dip!) Enjoy!
