I got so interested in it that I went to George Brown College for over a year to complete a series of courses and receive Bakery Arts Certificate. So, there are a lot of baking recipes on the blog. I cook simple and quick food most of the time. I try to eat healthy, but I don't follow any of the popular diets that are so in right now. e fat in recipes. I use very little salt in my seasoning as I find that there's enough natural salt in most foods. I can't eat many vegetables unfortunately due to some weird health issues, so although I love cooking vegetarian, there are not many vegetable dishes.

I don’t like the expression “hidden gem” but in this case the restaurant is a bit hidden. Located in a small plaza in Richmond Hill, not near any other eateries, STROGANOFF | European Restaurant | Richmond Hill is the perfect place for a delicious lunch, dinner, and an experience.

STROGANOFF | European Restaurant | Richmond Hill specializes in Eastern European cuisine with nostalgic dishes that ex-Soviets still enjoy. But if herring and beets aren’t your thing, there are plenty of dishes that would suit any taste!

Portions are generous, prices are fair, atmosphere, decor, service are amazing!

There’s live entertainment on Saturdays and it’s a whole experience! And while the weather is still warm, there’s a beautiful patio as well!

Whether you want to experience a bit of Russian, Ukrainian, Georgian cuisine or just have an amazing meal, Stroganoff is the place to try! I’ve been visiting the restaurant for many years and it’s been consistently amazing!

On a side note, this wasn’t my first time at YunShang Rice Noodle 云尚米线. I’ve visited multiple times before. I always like “dinner and entertainment” at restaurants and their rice noodle bowl is just that as you get to add all the ingredients into the bubbling broth to cook.

Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle!!!

Of course, Pho is a must at a restaurant that literally has Pho in its name but do not sleep on the sizzling plate!

I got to try the newly opened Pho Blossom Eatery and absolutely loved it! We had the classic Pho which was flavourful yet light! Sizzling plate was delicious and full of veggies and protein and the lovely dippy eggs. Massive fresh spring rolls were so good with the peanut sauce. I could eat that sauce with a spoon (probably shouldn’t 🤣). And the short ribs appetizer was awesome, very tender.

I also loved the decor. It was sort of modern and upscale and so pretty!!

Turkish breakfast just hits differently!

We tried the traditional Turkish breakfast at Turkish Flames and I didn’t eat for the rest of the day afterwards. It was delicious and so many interesting things!

It started with a buffet that had an array of fresh fruits, Heracles, olives, cheeses. But also a lot of different sauces and dips. I really enjoyed the mixture of Tahini paste and Pekmez.

For the main course we were served different kinds of eggs, cheese-filled filo pastries, and extra cheesy flatbread, called pide.

I especially liked the tea. It was made the way I used to drink it when I was little. A small kettle filled with strong tea concentrate and another kettle with boiling water.

What a great experience trying something new and delicious!
