Happy Sunday, friends 🤍

Some sessions hold a little extra meaning, and this was definitely one of them.

For the last four years, Trecia has been so much more than just a dayhome provider for our girls. She has loved them, cared for them, guided them, celebrated their milestones, wiped their tears, shared in their laughter, and created a place where they have always felt safe and cherished.

As a parent, there is no greater gift than knowing your children are spending their days with someone who loves them like their own. The bond they’ve built with Trecia is something our family will always be grateful for.

Being able to capture these memories for her family was such an honour and felt incredibly full-circle. Behind every great dayhome is a person with the biggest heart, and Trecia is exactly that.

Little sappy post for you today 🤍

I became a photographer because I truly believe photos matter more than we realize in the moment. Life moves fast, kids grow overnight, relationships change, and the little moments we think we’ll remember forever eventually fade. Photos freeze those moments for just a second so we can hold onto them a little longer.

One thing I’ve always promised myself with this business is that I never wanted photography to feel out of reach for people. Everyone deserves beautiful photos, not just the people who can afford to spend thousands. Memories shouldn’t be considered a luxury.

That’s also why I pride myself on quick turnaround times. I know the excitement after a session is REAL. Waiting weeks and weeks to relive those moments can feel forever, and I love getting galleries back fast so my clients can enjoy, share, print, and obsess over their photos while the excitement is still fresh.

Photography for me has never just been about taking pictures. It’s about capturing your people, your story, your season of life exactly as it is right now.
