How far before the wedding should we take engagement photos? The short answer? Whenever it makes sense for you!!

Some of my couples book their wedding a year or two in advance, which means we have tons of flexibility. We can choose the season they love, wait for a specific location to look its best, or simply plan the session when life feels a little less chaotic.
Other couples book much closer to their wedding date, and thatā€™s completely okay too.
Your engagement session doesnā€™t have to happen a full year beforehand for it to be worth doing. Sometimes we only have a few months, or even a few weeks, and we work with the time we have!
With my wedding packages, your engagement session is also flexible. If you decide you donā€™t need one, or our schedules just donā€™t line up, you can put that 1-hour session toward an additional hour of wedding-day coverage instead.
Basically, donā€™t stress about doing engagement photos at the ā€œperfectā€ time. Choose a season and date that feels good for you, and weā€™ll make it work šŸ™‚ā€ā†”ļøšŸ©·

I love when a couple comes to me with a vibe and we get to figure out the perfect location together.

They knew they wanted something beautiful and architectural, so we did a little digging and found a few spots and landed here. Iā€™m SO glad we did.

New places always get my brain going, noticing the light, the lines, the little corners, and all the different ways we can use the space.

This one was romantic, beautiful, and absolutely worth the drive. šŸ¤
