Going through some past photos. I definitely need to convince my sister to update this family photo. They will be doing photos this summer but more formal. The kid on the bike graduates this year.

I got out to Whitewood on Saturday to take some photos of the 1st jackpot the Elcapo 4-H club put on.
The kids did a great job (along with their parents) putting on this event. The wind was a little on the cooler side but the sun was out and I think they had a great day.

This year I am Thankful I am enjoying photography again. As my boys get older it is easier to sit and edit sessions. I enjoy all aspects of the business but for a little while it was hard to be able to sit down and do the computer part. Even with the programs getting easier to use, after a session I have a minimum of an hour of computer work, these photos took about 6 hours of my time to get out and into a gallery on top of the day its self.

I finally got around to editing our very quick family session on Aug 1st at the museum in Broadview (fyi that is where Devon and I got married). I also did a quick back to school shoot with both my boys. I will likely still order a couple school photos but these are the ones I am printing to send to family.

My little Jacob is graduating this year! We have more photos planned, we couldn't get to the location he really wants his photos done. There are also football and curling photos that are going to happen as well.
He goes with the flow when I get my camera out. I might have shed a few tears editing these photos.

This young lady I met about a year ago at a football game in Broadview, I had to assume that she was Jacob's girlfriend because his little sister would not leave her alone. Over the year I have gotten to know her a little more, at Christmas she was still shy, then at my son's Birthday she as a big help and we got to chat a bit.
This was her first experience as me as a photographer and she probably thinks I am a little crazy (I took a picture of their boots and of a lady bug), Jacob told her to just go with it.

Sept long weekend I drove to Broadview after taking lunches to the field. My sister asked me to take couple pictures for her oldest son (this is the little boy who made me realize what being an Auntie truly is). They had a vision board of pictures they wanted done I gave them that and more.
While I had the 2 of them we also did some individual photos since they are both graduating this year (more photos to come). The start of Jacob's casual session has begun, one perk about your Auntie being a photographer is that you get as many sessions as needed throughout the year.
