Glacial lakes are the prettiest blue you'll ever see!
The way the glacier melts causes the water to mix with in the bedrock making a mix of water and ground up rock that doesn't settle right away so it reflects back when the light hits it making that amazing turquoise blue colour.

I was lucky to be invited out to photograph some red foxes denning under a shed on a property near my town! After a little more than an hour of waiting, one of the kits came flying out of the trees with a gopher in its mouth (last photo), it happened so fast I only caught it running by but then I did get to see some of the siblings sitting in the sun and running around. One of the parents even gave me a glimpse which I didn't expect and loved to see.
These were some of the older fox kits I have taken photos of so they were very smart already and still SO cute and fun to watch.

I ended up finding a badger den recently and was able to get a little closer to grab a couple photos of the babies. They are almost the same size as the parent who I saw briefly so they are already older but really neat to find! There was at least 3 young that I saw from a distance but only one naive sibling who had to peek out at me 😂😊
