RONiN photo Professional Photographer. Fujifilm X-Photographer Alumni. Born in small town Newfoundland, Scott developed a love for the natural world at a young age.

His love for photography emerged in 2003 and he combined it with some of this favourite subjects like birds, wildlife and landscape to produce a passion for nature photography. Scott went on to pursue his newfound passion into the areas of wedding and portrait photography, and just a year after his daughter was born in 2009 he made the big leap and quit his job as GM of a car dealership to pursue

what he loved most in life. His decision to enter the realm of professional photography full time was definitely a challenge, but he has no regrets and feels privileged to make a full-time living doing what he loves. Scott’s style is mainly journalistic, as he loves to capture events naturally as they unfold, but he also loves the challenges found in setups and off-camera lighting. A lover of all things photography, Scott enjoys working in different photographic mediums including digital, 35mm, medium format and instant film.
