I initially wanted to wait until we received more news about what has transpired before posting. But the incident that occurred at CFB Wainwright yesterday has been heavy on my mind all day.

I've been checking the news and socials constantly to see what (if any) updates have been released. As I'm sure many of us have.

Some of you may not know, but I was in the Reserves for seven years. My husband is still active in the Reg Force for over 12 years now. And so while neither of us trained or worked at Wainwright, this devastating loss hits close to home for both of us.

To our brothers and sisters in arms who have lost their lives, those that are fighting for theirs, and the family and friends who love them, we are sending our love and prayers to you all. Our hearts are heavy, and we are mourning with you.

Stand easy.

A little throwback cause why not?!

I absolutely loved this session. I left it knowing I captured some breathtaking images. This is the session that made me feel like I really found my niche, my calling.
