In honour of the best thing ever, I’ve written out an expression of my love for you, dollar drink days. Words could never be enough though.
To the McDonald’s Dollar Drink Days menu:
You’re not just a promotion. You’re a lifestyle. A summer romance. A beacon of hope glowing through a windshield at 12:17 p.m., and let’s be real, often 8:15 a.m. (but you never judge me!).
When the world said inflation, you said “large icy Diet Coke for a dollar.” When I was thirsty, you were there. When I needed a little cup of joy, you never asked questions.
Some people write love letters to their soulmates. I’m writing mine to Dollar Drink Days.
