Today’s post is something a little different. Not photography, but a little piece of meaningful art.

It’s a collab with my beautiful friend, Krystah. It depicts an abstract figure of a women, with a larger belly depicting a postpartum body. What’s neat about this is the women is actually made from postpartum hair loss. This is something that happens to many of us and it is often dismissed as being normal…hormonal. What’s rarely discussed is the psychological repercussions of this experience. The changes in our body, our identity….

I took the image she sent and made a digital piece of art bringing something often scary and turning it into something natural and beautiful.

Please share and start a dialogue. Talk about your experiences and bring light to something many try to hide. Our bodies may be different, aging, smaller or larger…but we are all still beautiful.

As I said to my friend Krystah, small ripples make waves.

I’ve photographed so many people of all shapes and sizes. Every time, I always notice something unique about them. It could be that flick of gold in their green eyes, or a pattern of freckles. I always marvel at how these features truly bring out the beauty in the person.

I met this beautiful lady a few weeks ago on the eve of her friends wedding. I immediately noticed her hair and was in complete awe of it. I’m so excited that she has agreed to work with me for an upcoming project this fall!

Even though we have decided to slow down this year, we have decided to keep with tradition and host our three main photography events!

Our fall and holiday minis are now available to book online! But also…. *drumroll*

We have added our final event of 2026… our annual holiday themed bo***ir event! This year our theme is “Metal & Rock”, complete with Santa hats and electric guitars!

There’s only 4 appointments available for this event, so grab a spot!
