Got a special order recently for four large aluminum panels — all photographed on Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation land. I’m so excited to see these pieces find their home at the new Siyi7ch’em Clinic and bring some warmth and life into a space that can often feel a bit too sterile.

There’s something about printing this big on aluminum… it’s incredibly immersive, like you’re stepping right into the scene. This collaboration has me fired up to create more large-scale aluminum work – there’s nothing quite like seeing an image come alive at this size.

I’ve driven past this view for over eight years—probably fifty times or more. Every time, I think about how I’d like to photograph it: what the perfect light might look like, what season would suit it best, whether I’d ever actually catch the moment. This is pretty close to what I’d imagined—though if I’d arrived ten minutes earlier, it might’ve been spot on.
Endless drive-bys, twenty-six images stitched together, and a lot of squinting at my computer have brought us here. This photo would make a kick-ass print, and I hope you like it as much as I do.

I’m so excited to be showing work alongside the incredibly talented Sarah Keller this summer! Our joint exhibit explores the quiet, fleeting moments that make a place feel like home — through Sarah’s intricate watercolours and my landscape photography.

Join us from July 9 – Sept 15 as we celebrate the beauty of Squamish through two different lenses.

Blue hour, golden hour, and sunrise over the tantalus range.
I've always found it to be such a struggle posting these panos on social media as you lose so much of what makes them cool. Scrubbing through the pixels you get incredible detail of the snow dusted glaciers, spires and even the Jim Haberl hut! Which morning light is your favourite?🌞

The other day Chris tallied up our days away from home and it turns out we’ve been away more than we’ve been home since the start of 2023. I love how busy of a start we’ve had but I also love home and this view. Looking forward to the rest of this year all I know is that no matter where we are, we’ll always return to this peaceful place.
