My most recent documentary I directed will be playing at on September 19th and I can’t wait to share this again with a local crowd!

This film hits very close to home for me, both literally (Tori is my roommate), and figuratively (a lot of struggles she’s faced I can empathize with). I poured my heart and soul into it, from start to finish, and making this film helped me through some of my own tough times.

It wasn’t an easy path to the finish line, but thanks to everyone involved and all the support from loved ones, we managed to make something that will hold strong against the test of time and will hopefully resonate with many.

I would love to see everyone from Vancouver to Squamish come to this very special fundraiser event with all proceeds going to and with coming to show their support as well. With live music from to kick off the evening and a panel discussion after the film, it will be a screening to remember ♥️

One frame from a timelapse I did in Joshua Tree late last year.

The uncertainty of timelapses at night have always been enticing to me.

You stay up late. You plan the composition meticulously. You’re never fully sure if the result is what you envisioned. You’re impatiently patient. You wait. You finally go to bed. You wake up and get a glimpse of the outcome.

I had been aching for a trip to Mexico to get back into my love for surfing.

Being able to spend time redeveloping old skills, and progressing a little further ignited the fire I had been yearning.

I didn’t make it out every day. With some of the swells that came through, I gladly sat on the sidelines and watched in aw of the absolute chargers.

That being said, I did try and go out later this day and got absolutely thrashed, pounded, terrified, and most importantly reminded of how humble the ocean can make you.

I certainly see more waves on my horizon.
