But what if it rains?
Well, we have a bunch of options!
First off, we usually keep 2 tentative dates on my calendar. I have been surprisingly lucky for the most part.
But this is a rainforest.
And such as it is, I find it most practical to have more than one option available.
Having flexibility that day is also a HUGE bonus. It rarely rains the WHOLE day. So seeing a 80%POP doesn't mean much if you don't check the hourly forecast. It might just be raining all night till noon and turn into a spectacular afternoon.
We live in a valley. Our local forecast includes those mountains that surround us.🏔
Anything at or under 70% often means those clouds will be clinging to those mountain tops, but we may still end up relatively dry everywhere in between.
Every so often a family doesn't have the option to reschedule, or they are just particularly adventurous and we press on!
With the moody PNW skies, and slightly imperfect hair. Some of these have ended up being my favorite sessions. 🤩
