Warning: vulnerable post ahead.
I went into 2026 feeling excited, hopeful, and ready for a fresh start. Instead, it has turned into one of the hardest and most unfair years I have faced in a long time.
The past five years have already been hardāreally f*cking hard. Rebuilding a life and family on my own, raising three kids, trying to grow a business, and carrying so much responsibility has not been easy. Then 2026 seemed to hit like a freight train.
Between the cost of living, the uncertainty of being in a luxury-service industry, the heartbreaking loss of my girlsā dad, learning to love myself again and know my worth, and turning 40⦠it has been a lot.
June has been especially difficult. It is peak busy season, there are multiple ball schedules, teenage daughters, and only one of me trying to keep up with it all. We said goodbye to the girlsā dad last weekend, and now my computer has crashed and cannot be repaired for a couple of weeks.
I know some of my clients are waiting on galleries, sneak peeks, and other communication, and I am so sorry for the delay. I will be doing my best to catch up as soon as I can, and I will be offering a little something to those affected by the extended turnaround time.
I appreciate every booking, every message, every bit of patience, and every ounce of support. Thank you for being understanding while I navigate what has honestly felt like a dumpster-fire year. I am doing my best, and I am so grateful for all of you.
