I bought my first camera in 1977 when I studied Journalism Administration at SAIT. I now take photos for fun.

I worked for several publications as a photo journalist/editor before moving to public relations and communications.

Some of my friends used to complain about my vehicles smelling like cow manure when I worked at the auction market. My bosses always said it smells like money. Nothing could be more true in today's market.

I don't know how long it took to build this old wood trestle, but they are sure cool.

This old building is located just down the road from our Redwater Farm. I may not be there in the spring as it is on its last legs.

I've seen some big ravens in my day, but this big ole boy was full grown - - and aggressive with the birds in the neighbourhood.

Sometimes it's the small things in life that matter - - like my neighbour Gus sticking his head through the uprights on the deck to talk to me.

It looks like most of my photos will now feature snow in some manner. I like this shot because of the odd colour the needles are.

Our grandson's team posted its first victory of the season with a 6-5 win over the KC Sabres. The win was thanks-in-part to saves like this on a clear-cut breakaway.
