Photos like this are exactly why I love what I do. A split second of a wedding day, preserved forever; the way he held her face, the way she melted into him, the veil falling around them like the rest of the world simply wasn’t there.

Some weddings leave me with full memory cards… and some leave me with a full heart. This one did both. πŸ₯ΉπŸ€

This wedding gave me so much reassurance in why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

It’s not just about taking beautiful photos. It’s about being trusted with moments that will never happen quite the same way again. The nervous anticipation. The belly laughs. The quiet little looks between two people. The hugs, the tears, the chaos, the loveβ€”and all of the tiny moments in between that someday become some of the biggest memories.

There was a point during this wedding where I caught myself looking around and thinking, I really get to do this. πŸ₯Ή

I get to stand beside people on some of the most meaningful days of their lives and preserve pieces of their story that they’ll be able to hold onto long after the day itself has passed.

And I will never, ever take that for granted.

To every couple, family and person who has chosen me to capture a chapter of their lifeβ€”thank you. Thank you for trusting my eye, my heart and my camera with memories that mean so much to you.

I am so beyond blessed to call this my job. 🀍

And days like this one remind me all over again why I love it so damn much.

How lucky am I to photograph both of my sweet girls πŸ₯²

I don’t think anyone prepares you for how bittersweet it is to watch your little sisters grow into women, find their people, and begin creating lives and love stories of their own.

I’ve spent so many years knowing her as my little sister - and somehow, there I was behind my camera (again) getting to capture her with the person who makes her feel loved, safe and happy.

There’s something incredibly special about photographing love for a living… but when it’s someone you’ve loved for their entire life, it hits a little differently.

I’ll forever see the little girl I grew up with when I look at her, no matter how grown she gets. And now I get to watch her love and be loved through all these new chapters of life 🫢

This one felt a little different….

Because somehow, the little girl I’ll forever see as my baby sister is all grown up; in love, and letting me capture this chapter of her life.

There’s something so bittersweet about watching your baby sister grow up. Part of me looks at these and sees the beautiful woman she’s become, and another part of me still sees the little girl I grew up beside.

Getting to stand behind my camera and capture the way he looks at her, the way she lights up around him, and a love that is so completely hers… my heart πŸ₯²

I think this might be one of those galleries that will always mean just a little bit more to me.
It’s truly a bittersweet feeling knowing she has someone that loves her so deeply.
