I had to step back from photography several years ago because life got too busy. So busy, that it took me a year to finally go through and edit these photos of my daughter 😅

I feel a bit "rusty" with the editing, haha...but it was fun to work on some photos again.

I finished the last day of the porch Christmas sessions with these two beauties 💕

I won’t have any more days of sessions with the porch sets; sorry I couldn’t accommodate everyone who requested a session. I’m thinking about possibly offering some mini shoots for photos like this - neutral, tree background portraits. Great for anyone just wanting a few professional quality headshots or 3/4 length portraits 📸

I’m used to swapping human heads or eyes to get the “perfect” photo when needed, but today I’ve been working to combine three photos in order to get one image with both doggies looking 😅 These two were full of energy, lol, and there was no way we could get them both still and looking at the same time 😂 (original photo in upper left corner for reference).

FYI: I don’t think I will be able to offer any more dates for the Christmas mini sessions. For those who have submitted the request form for later dates or who couldn’t make the days I had sessions, I will email you if I offer another day; but it’s unlikely, so you may want to make other plans for your photos.

I will be offering some sessions Wednesday and/or Thursday afternoon this week (between 2:30-4pm). And if the weather cooperates I’ll do another weekend date later in the month to accommodate the requests for when spouses are home, etc.

I sooo enjoyed being behind the camera again today 📸 It was really nice to see some familiar faces (gosh how the babies have grown!!) and meet some new people too!

Just a few samples and previews because I’m loving the photos from today’s sessions 😍
