During my recent trip to Victoria I got wind of an epic event my good friend Colton ColtCuts was playing at called Dam-Nation. This event was held at a beautifully serene abandoned warehouse about an hour and a half out of Victoria, near Sooke, BC. The inside was completely covered in graffiti and they managed to haul in a large sized PK Sound rig provided by Dj Anger! The space was lit up from every angle with lights, lasers and burn barrels in every corner. BIG UPS to the Carpe Noctum crew for throwing this kick ass event! Proper warehouse dubstep vibes. Here are the shots I managed to grab from this epic night.

After encountering a slew of challenges preventing me from getting to Motion Notion on time - I persevered and ended up making it to the beautiful Beaver Foot Lodge around 11pm Thursday night. These were the Moments that ensued throughout this wonderful 4 day event. This was also my first time capturing the festival from behind a lens (unofficially)! I had an amazing experience and was completely blown away by the talent brought in for this event. Some of my favourite acts this year were S.P.Y, Minnesota, Shlump, Koan Sound, Abstrakt Sonance and Perkulator. I had an absolute blast capturing these moments, wonderful job as always Motion Notion you guys killed it yet again! Please do not alter or crop the photos.
